Graduation FUN.... Gage

So graduation is upon us and we had a lot of friends graduating.... i shot some pictures of my best friends son's Gage's Graduation party.... It was a beautiful day.... blue sky.... perfect temperature.... lots of friends and family.... lots of YUMMY food.... and just relaxing!!!

Taylie teaching my kids how to play soccer ..... We had such a great time... and we are soooo proud of Gage... he now plans on going to UNM with the presidential scholarship and serving a mission in a year... he has some great goals and a bright future.... love him and that family they are the best and raised such a bright wonderful young man.... i HOPE my kids meet someone like him becasue who ever he ends up with is gonna be ONE LUCKY GIRL!!!!

Hailey Talent Show Firework.. Katie Perry 2012

My beautiful little girl Hailey Bug Hailey and her friend Brianna wanted to do the schools talent show this year... they wanted to do a dance .... and WELL i don't have ANY talent in this are.  So i just blew it off till Brianna's grandma called to see if they could get together and "practice" sure i guess .... so they came over and "started to practice" it was in a nice way NOT dancing but running in circles.  So my neighbor and good friend is a dancer and had offered to help the girls learn a dance earlier in the year.... sooooo we went to "Auntie Jenny" for help.
They met with Jenny 3 times a week for 2 hours for a month .... Hailey had ZERO dance experience so i was a bit nervous for Jenny.... well the first week they had the dance down.... practiced and cleaned it up... tried out and they were 1 of the 50ish that made it to the talent show.... 110 about tried out.
So to say the least i was VERY proud of my little girl and her friend... and they did AMAZING!!!!

This is Hailey all ready makeup and costume on ready to go.... Jenny came over early to do her makeup and make sure her hair and everything was just perfect!!!

Ashley Thriller Talent Show

Final show day.... MANY hours of practice and commitment practicing for the school talent show.... and it has finally come and just as fast its GONE!!!
These girls worked so hard and i am so proud of all 6 of them.... they did an amazing job and looked AWESOME!!!!

This was the morning of the BIG day.... they all came to my house early in the morning to get dressed with makeup and hair done

This was the first part of the dance .... we had a fog machine and strobe lights to finish the look

I love Laurens face in this.... it took a while for the girls to get into actor mode but when they did it was sooooo awesome!!!!

The girls when they were done.... so glad to be finished but so sad that it has come to an end.... we look forward to next year when they can do it all over again and maybe just maybe the moms will do Thriller..... would be tons of fun :)

Seven Bar Elementry Talent Show 2012

Ashley and a group of friends got together this year and tried out for the school talent show. The girls worked really hard and all the moms put a lot of time and effort into this and helping make is sooooo good that it made the cut.  110 students tried out and only about 70 made it the the final show.
I didn't realize all the time and dedication it would take on all of us to make this possible. The girls picked the song Thriller from Micheal Jackson.... they watched the video and made their own moves along with some help from the mom's. They practiced HARD for DAYS and WEEKS and today was payoff!!!
These girls and their moms have become pretty good friends working day after day together to make this the BEST dance of the show.... Congrats to these hard working girls and to their mom's .... yous girls ROCK!!!
It was a very bitter sweet experience.... it was FINALLY here after so many days of practice .... and now it was over just like that.... it was sad! But we as "friends" look forward to many more get together's just for fun :)

Recent family pictures

I went through a stage where i never got family pictures done.... and it seems like the last year we have gotten them done quite frequent.  Lots of things we have been through that last few years has made me realize that life is short and i want my kids to remember me and have memories.

Boys.... k the sweaters came from his mom and when Drew was little his Grandma and Grandpa went to Scotland and brought these back for him and his brother... and well they fit both of my boys i thought it was pretty neat so i had to have their pictures takin in them

I hope that if anything ever happened to me that my kids could look back at all the many pictures i have takin throughout the years and know without a doubt that they were loved very much by both of their parents.... life gets hard and we experience more then we ever hoped or thought we would.... but at the end of it all it will be worth it!!!
