I'm getting my house ready for Christmas and it has put me in the BEST mood.... and I started wondering "why" it made me so happy.... so here are my thoughts of Christmas.
Random Thoughts....
I love to sit on the couch in the dark with nothing but the Christmas lights on and think....
To look at the ornaments and remember the meaning behind them
The sparkle in my children's eyes
The stress of shopping/the love of buying gifts for others
The Christmas carols and the music
Remembering our Savior and his birth
The cold weather (I don't like cold weather .... but it can't be Christmas without being cold)
Snow.... (not likely here in NM.... but sometimes we get lucky)
Baking.... I LOVE to bake .... the giving of only the best treats and the aroma in the house
Pulling out my nativity scene's
Creating Christmas cards
Family.... remembering their importance
Religion... knowing the TRUE meaning of Christmas
Remembering a special trip we took with my parents to Temple Square..... Memories
Missing Family and Friends....
Making new traditions with my kids
Pulling out all the Christmas story books and reading snuggled together by the Tree
Wishing i lived closer to HOME (where all my family is)
